Overview

Locale Preferences translates the buttons that lose you customers into a language the customer is unlikely to read. Accept stays in English. Cancel becomes Peruuta.

Finnish was chosen after a six-month study of 40 languages for its effect on churn. Hungarian came a close second, and is available on Enterprise.

How it works

  1. Detects every Cancel, Decline, Reject and Unsubscribe on the page.
  2. Translates them into Finnish. Accept, Buy and Subscribe are left in English.
  3. Runs at page load, so there is no flicker and no second thought.
