Overview

Takeover gives a single advertiser the whole screen before the visitor reaches your page. There is a short, considered wait, then a close button, then your content.

The wait is ten seconds. Visitors spend it looking at the ad, because there is nothing else to look at.

How it works

1. A full-viewport ad shown on arrival and every two minutes after.
2. A countdown in the corner. The close button appears when it reaches zero.
3. Works with Smart Close, so the first close is also an impression.
