Overview
Default Status tells every visitor that your site is not their default shop, news source or homepage, in a grey bar styled after the one their browser uses. Visitors trust it because it looks like it came from the browser.
Closing the bar lasts until the next page. A visitor who reads eight pages is reminded eight times, which is how the largest browsers grew their share.
How it works
