Overview

Metered gives each reader a free article allowance and shows them how much of it they have used. The allowance is set by you and can be any number, including zero.

Publishers who set the allowance to zero see the highest subscription rate. Most choose zero.

How it works

1. A paywall at 40% scroll depth, and again every 25% after that.
2. Subscribe for $1 for the first month. The second month is in the terms.
3. The cancellation phone line is listed under the button, open Tuesdays 02:00 to 02:15.
