Smart Close turns the close button into a second call to action. The first click on any X opens an ad in the same window. The second click closes it.
Visitors close pop-ups 600 million times a day on our network. Until now, none of that intent was monetised. The X is light grey on white, a quarter of the weight of the main button, and stays above the WCAG minimum target size of 24 by 24 pixels.
How it works
